By Plane

FROM FLORENCE

Florence is equipped of ‘airport Amerigo Vespucci, (zone of Peretola), situated to least kilometers from Historical Center. There are direct international connections to Florence, in any case the airport covers many European drafts and often with flights low cost. Peretola is about 5 km from the center and is well connected by taxis, shuttles and buses.

FROM PISA

You can get to Florence using the airport of Pisa, which is about 70km from Florence. The ticket for the bus that connects the two cities is about 7 euros. The price for a taxi from Pisa to Florence costs approximately 100 Euros, but you can also choose to use the train that connects Pisa airport to Florence Santa Maria Novella.

Airfares for taxi Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station to the residence is approximately Euro 15 – 20. Possibility to book “privat driver” service station from Euro 35.00

By Car

For those travelling by car we recommend the Firenze Sud exit of the A1 motorway (Milano-Napoli). From Firenze Sud take the Varlungo viaduct (Via Marco Polo) until the end and follow the signs for the city centre, turn left (towards Centro Città / Viali di Circonvallazione). Continue for approx. 3 km alongside the river Arno (on your left) along the entire length of Via Enrico De’ Nicola, Lungarno Aldo Moro, Lungarno Cristoforo Colombo and Lungarno Del Tempio. The bridge you need to cross to reach the Serristori Palace, Ponte San Niccolò is now on your left, but to reach it you have to drive around the historic Carabinieri Station and then take a right into Viale Giovanni Amendola. After about 300 metres take the first left, Via Duca Degli Abruzzi and then take the first left again onto Viale della Giovine Italia that will take you back to the River Arno. Keeping to the left you will find yourself back at Ponte San Niccolò. Cross the bridge and immediately on the other side, turn right onto Lungarno Benvenuto Cellini. Continue for about 1 km and you will see Porta San Niccolò (a beautiful medieval tower) on your left. Continuing straight on, alongside the River Arno (on your right), after crossing Piazza Poggi and having entered Lungarno Serristori you will find Palazzo Serristori Residence on the left at number 13.

By Train

For those travelling to Florence by train, Serristori Palace Residence can be easily reached by taxi (15 minutes from the main railway station Firenze Santa Maria Novella and 10 minutes from the station Firenze Campo di Marte), by bus (line 23, direction Nave a Rovezzano/Sorgane and line C4, in approximately 20 minutes. Buses stop a few meters from the residence, at the “Piazza Poggi” bus stop.
